Sunshine and smiles

Everyone seems to be in a better mood now that the sun is out. Today, one of my male students told me, "Ms. Allison, you look very pretty and strong in your white shirt."

While this compliment is a bit more direct than the time one of my students told me I was like a little doll, it still stands to be said that Vietnamese people give the strangest compliments!!!!

Oh well, class is over (and I did not cancel to go to the beach!) so it's time for a walk through the rice-paddies in this lovely sunshine!

Sorry, just felt the need to brag about what Wunderground.com just confirmed for me. And for those of you who don't know Celsius, 29C converts to about 84F! Woohoo! (Yes, I am choosing to ignore the next few days' forecasts of rainy, overcast, and cloudy. Who cares?! It's GORGEOUS today!)
